Arguably the most technically proficient musicians connected to the Abc No Rio scene circa 1992-94; 1.6 Band reflected the maturing without becoming lame tension present in the, at times, limiting confines of HC/Punk orthodoxy. This 4 song ep, both sonically and lyrically, brilliantly rises to the occasion. There's melody within the dissonance, superb musical chops in a non-self absorbed fashion and yeah; 9 to 5 work drudgery is an albatross for creative types everywhere.
